My sterling silver BRZ was next to two other silver cars when I walked out to the parking lot today. I noticed for the first time what a great shade of silver it really is, not as boring as a lot of silvers. You can't really describe shades in words, but it was a lighter and more shiny or maybe "slippery"-looking silver than the other two. Less gray and more pale maybe. And not just because it was newer!

I finally got my sterling silver metallic BRZ. The color is excellent, superb, first-rate and classic. I am glad I got this color.

Me too. In some other posts I said same thing, the sterling silver is a perfect shade of silver, really beautiful in all kinds of light. It goes great with the wheels too, the silver trim inside, and my soon-to-be gray center seat inserts. I'm totally happy with it.

The other color I love on the BRZ is the dark gray but given summers where I live, had to go lighter.

Really pleased with this shade of silver as well. Was actually debating on the phone with the dealer at the time of order between WRB and white, then I just said you know what.. let's do silver. Spontaneous decision worked out well!

Still trying to organize a meetup in MA - anybody out there interested?

One of the nice aspects of this silver is that it takes on the lighting around it. These pics prove that. I struggled with the colour choices (I only had four), but I chose SSM too. Silver is common, but in this uncommon car it's a winner. I plan to tint the windows which should compliment the other contrasts of black/silver in the car. I get my car in a few weeks, hopefully.

I'd love to see a deep dark racing green in the future.

GO TO Reply To Thread.
click on Advanced button.
Click on Attachment Icon (paper clip).
Click on Add Files button.
Click on Select Files button.
This should put you in your Documents, then photos then file you are looking for.Select photo(s)
Size, I think, must be 1024 X 683 or smaller.
In new window select Upload Files button. Your photo should show up in Attachments box.
Click on Insert Inline button.
Click on Done.
You should now see in you new post box: [attach=config] xxxx [attach]
Type in any comment you want.
