Thread: Coming up on year mark since Sti BRZ concept at LA Aut show, better be something new!

I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. If there is no indication on an sti or details on xt within 2-3 month I'll be moving on. Regular BRZ is awesome but not for me, and I've waited too long and saved too much.

Well I'm pretty excited given the xt model with brakes. I'm hopeful there will be an sti announcement soon, What do you guys think? I already have a powerful track car. I think the BRZ is amazing, but I told myself from the start I'd be holding out for big brakes/suspension at the very least. I enjoy torque, 150ft lbs just doesn't cut it for me. If i had no other car and was only going to spend mid to hi 20's I would buy the brz.

Get a 2004 Z06 and be done with it.

Might as well hold off until 2013 now unless you plan on driving it during winter.(Granted if you have snow or not)

BRZ Sti better have a turbo. If it takes 18 months for subaru to do no real engine work and slap brembos and springs on I will be so fucking angry I'll say fuck it and step my game up. Shoulda brought the fucking brz sti to la this year. Still subaru hasn't even bothered to release any details on their BRZ XT from paris auto show. It's just disrespectful and shitty business towards customers.

ha, im new here... havent had the need to really post... since im in the same boat as you (no brz yet)... i have a dedicated track car and really wanted something reliable... Ive never cross shopped, till now that i want a BETTER version of the BRZ. Either the XT or the Sti would be fine for me really... But theyre really lagging it. All i hear is rumors and im pretty sick and tired of it too...

Honestly, despite the fact that i need another car already, im willing to hold out till March... if nothing, M power it is...

PS its funny how BRZ drivers dont want the "other version" to be released
