    I also live in california. I have previously allways went with AEM intakes for the specific reason it is carb certified. AEM comes with a sticker and a serial number stating it passed certification. As long has your intake has the sticker it is CA legal and will pass smog even if you have the cover off and the bright red filter exposed. That sticker covers your ass.

    i am on the same verge of the question that what the effect the AEM intake is going to fall upon .. is here anyone to clear ?

    I installed a injen cold air intake a week ago and I must say the difference is amazing. I had a aem on my previous car, (acura cl-s 2003) and it was great but I must say the injen feels amazing and the filter matches the car which is a bonus. For the price, (273.00) it's worth the investment . I will try to post pics and video. No issues with maf and idling.

    What intake, exhaust, and test pipe do you guys recommend? What have you've seen or heard that's worth the buck?

    AEM is one of few intake makers that paid california the big bucks for doing carb legal intakes. they really have their act together i have known them and employees for years. according to their web site that intake is 50 state legal
