Thread: Subsciption to XM radio

Anyone else having issues with the correct length of the trial subscription to XM radio? Brochure for BRZ say 4 months, xm radio saying there's no such thing as a 4 month trial. Called dealer, who finally confirmed that it should be 4 months, after they called Subaru. Meanwhile XM is still saying they are shutting it off after 3 months. Getting the run around from the dealer and them. Anyone else run into this?

Pretty sure it is a 3 month/90 day trial. I'm hooked on it though.

It's a 90 day trial. It might be a few days over that, by the time XM gets word of the vehicle sale and starts the timer on the trial.

I agree that it is a 90-day trial subscription. I did, however, review the 9 X 12.5 2013 Subaru BRZ pamphlet, and on the 'Equipment' page , small print note '3', it says: "....Includes a 4-month trial subscription. See your dealer."
The small print also states "Specifications in this brochure are based on the latest product information available at the time of publication. For the most up-to-date product information, log onto subaru.com"."

If one wants to just buy a magazine and look at the pictures such as Playboy/Playgirl, that's fine, but if one is buying a $28,000 sexual surrogate, read the fine print. Granted, almost no one does.

It's 4 months for me. Purchased my car on 10/13. SiriusXM called me and confirmed my trial ends 2/15/13, and offered me a promotional rate after my trial ends.

Weird, I'm in Canada, and got my car last week, no XM. I don't even see it on the device settings. Mind you I have not read the complete manual yet.

It doesn't say XM, it's the Sat icon.

I'm in BC and did not get a Sirius promo period either.

Received information from Sirius last week for signing up for a subscription. Lo and behold, the flyer from Sirius says it is a 4 month trial subscription. Cool.
