Push Start turning radio on without car on

I haven't received my BRZ yet but this thought just hit me. Not sure how to explain this so i'll give an example. I hop into my car and would like to listen to some music before i head off. How do I turn the radio on without turning the car on? Same goes for leaving the radio on without turning the car off. Not sure how this function would work with a push start button.

What do you mean by saying "turning the car on"? Describe what happens, what you do.
2013 BRZ Premium, sterling silver metallic, manual transmission.

Well for my manual limited, it starts by pushing down the clutch and pushing start. If you ONLY step on the brake and hit the push start, it only turns on the electronics, pretty much goes into ACC mode.

I think this is exactly the answer he was looking for, i was curious myself... another question, do you just give the button a quick push, or do you have to hold it to start the car?

Quick push is all it takes.

Does that go the same with shutting the engine off without turning off the electronics?

I haven't tried that. I think it just turns everything off. I'll try it when I'm getting out of work. Since you don't really need to have the foot on the clutch to turn it off, not sure how it'll work.

No foot on brake required. If you don't press either pedal and tap the start button you enter Acessory position where radio works. If you tap the start button a second time without pedals then the car switches to full-on mode (Ignition on position) without the engine starting. Kind of like a keyed ignition's "first click" or "second click" key positions. A third tap of the start switch without pedals turns everything off (key off position). At any time and when in any mode if the clutch is depressed and the start button is tapped the engine start sequence will commence. All this assuming you have your remote in your pocket or in the cockpit.
