Any reason why I should wait longer than a week?? The dealer who sold me said it would be better if I could wait 2 weeks. Would it "coat" get that much harder in a week?

I put the 2.0 on my car, and if I remember correctly when reading the guide it said to keep it from getting wet for at least 24 hours and that the coating takes up to 30days to fully cure. I played it safe and kept mine away from water for about 48 hours. I don't notice any degradation in the product anywhere where it might have gotten wet after the first 2 days so I don't think it's a huge deal. However, more time couldn't hurt.

I don't think you need to wait that long. You can wash it . I've seen people wash their cars an hour after opticoating it to watch it bead and the coating is still going strong a year later.
