Removing fuel cap sticker?

Just got a WR Blue Limited 6 MT from my local Tucson Subaru dealer-used with just under 10k miles on it. Has the fuel cap sticker on it, which I don't like. I have read that others have been able to successfully remove this, but I am concerned since the sticker has been on for almost a year in the Arizona heat if removing it would damage the paint. Any thoughts?

Blow-dryer or heat gun and dental tape works great for removing emblems and thick stickers like that. Just go easy and don't get too hot with the gun. The idea is to heat it up just to where the sticker is easy to start peeling off, then slowly and gradually work it off, adding heat as necessary to soften the adhesive.

you can use isopropyl to remove the adhesive but rinse thoroughly with water afterwards and wax

WD40 removes any leftover adhesive easily with no damage.
