I think someone one mentioned obtaining these from a source outside the US where the warnings are not required. I find the bright white color to be a real distraction in my peripheral vision.

Is a Sharpie a viable option? Electrical tape?
Or adhesive vinyl (maybe carbon fiber weave?). Check your local auto parts store.

When the 1st generation 986 came out, someone in Canada was selling vinyl cutouts that you would stick on to the visors with silicone adhesive. A lot of people on the board bought those.

YMMV

Don't use black tape! It gets really slimy and sticky in the heat. Won't work. From all that I've read on the subject, stickers are the best option. I agree that they look horrible and are annoying.

Black vinyl would be your best bet... Also, should you decide to, it can be removed easily enough with minimal problems. I second that duct tape is an awful idea.
