I don't think very many people understand the importance of having back pressure with an exhaust. I was talking to a guy the other day that owns a brz and had alread blown 2 valves. Those huge pipes aren't meant for an n/a car. For turbo applications. Maybe some of you more technical people and help me with picking out a power gaining exhaust for my n/a build.

3" with tuning will make more power N/A than 2.5". Especially with a header, there is a benefit to having a 3". On the downside, it's quite a bit louder and possibly drones more. I also think there's a lot of misconceptions about back pressure. You could run completely catless and have zero problems, and make the most power possible. Back pressure isn't needed to make power. I also don't see how an exhaust is related to burning a valve.
