Lots of reports of this. It is possible that some engines come with air bubbles in the cooling system which work their way out.
If the engine repeatedly loses coolant after being topped up I would suspect the pressure cap first. If replacing the pressure cap doesn't stop the coolant loss then a complete cooling system pressure test is advised, under warranty.
