I did this in 2013 with my first BRZ and then used on my 2017 and now my 2023. I had two 30" steel bars made using the tow ring at a machine shop for the thread pattern. Then I can attach a standard bike rack.

I had this specially made and have had this since 2013 when the car was first introduced and used it on my 17 and 23 since. At this point, there are many after market.
