So many haters on the forum? Why even bother posting that? What do you have to benefit?
LOL

Sarcasm on the internets apparently really isn't obvious to some.

I kid. Your hearts in the right place. :)

I was going to mention the RX-8 instead. Although the piss poor MPG was a big factor in it's demise, you have to think the pure performance numbers were a factor too. You can rave about handling and praise the "driving experience" all you want like every magazine did with the RX-8, but in the minds of many, that just won't do in this country.
Maybe it had something to do with the motor, too... even after all these years, despite its potential, not everyone can wrap their head around a rotary engine.

Besides, as far as I know, Subaru is calling this a limited production vehicle from the start. Given what the initial response is it seems to me to already be a success.

Consider also the fact the population is ageing and the balance is shifting to people who value things other than pissing contests. The many minds you mention are becoming less valid a metric for advertising.

Keep a close watch on the automotive market in these coming years. You obviously haven't gone through as serious a change in the fabric of the automobile industry as happened in the '70s due to gasoline prices. Just wait, you will.
