I have been looking at some remote starters and I decided on the Viper 5701. I went to Best Buy to talk to the guys, and they won't install it if it's not in their system.
After calling a few buddies I learned of a guy that does a lot of remote starters for difficult vehicles and he said that he needs to be able to get the wiring diagram for the car in order to install it. It might be hard to find that on such a new car with low quantity.
Does anyone have experience with this? Does Subaru sell remote starter kits? He said some companies sell kits that you just plug in and they work ($700-$800, but warrantied).
