So what do you guys think? Should the team at Subaru turn the recent Subaru BRZ convertible rendering into reality with a production model Subaru BRZ convertible?

I think the BRZ convertible renderings looked pretty good, and I would like to see a convertible variant of the BRZ. Not sure if I would drive one.

On one hand it would just add more weight to the car that one of its main selling points is the power to weight ratio so it would be a bad idea.
But on the other hand if it was a complete fold away hard top or even removeable hard top it wouldn't look bad.

If Subaru has plans for one I say go ahead. There's a market for it, just look at the S2k and Miata they sell really well and people love them. But as the above posted said, having the hardtop option would be better for the crowd that's just looking for performance.

I personally would not buy a BRZ convertible. Convertible Subaru? Not going to happen. Maybe a convertible FR-S.
