What tires did you go to? Where I live the climate is moderate, but tends to be cool and wet. When I bought my 2017 BRZ I soon replaced the original Michelin Primacy tire with Michelin Pilot Sport 3+ all season. There were times when I knew that was a good decision. I think I will keep the Pilot Sport 4 on my 2022 BRZ until they wear out and consider something at that time. I figure that when the temp gets in the low 40s or below with a chance of snow, I will commandeer our Subaru Ascent and keep the BRZ in the garage. Not too much of a sacrifice. On the Ascent, the original Falken tires were just not getting the job done. I had a set of Michelin Cross Climate tires fitted and in my estimation, they should have been the factory tire in the first place. I have seen where new BRZ owners are actually getting the Cross Climate on their BRZs, especially if they are in snow country. The Ascent not only does much better in the wet and cold now, but the car handles much better when the pavement is dry as well.
