They are standard. Are you confused because you think there are three trim levels? Base, Premium, and Limited? There are only two, Premium and Limited.
As per the original question, probably the Limited since it's going to be a DD. Though, that's based on the $27K price tag the presenter at NAIAS said. If it's $30K like some people believe, I'll go premium for the $25K. Though I don't see a $5k difference between Premium and Limited since Nav is standard.
I'm gonna guess no. Just not as useful in the states as in Japan where space is at a premium. Plus most JDM models that have/had this feature almost never made it stateside.
I only buy cars with all options I want. I skimped once 15 years ago and regretted every day afterward. The limited is a nice and necessary suite of options and will top out below $30K. I have Keyless on my Benz now and hands down it's one of the greatest options invented. Never having to touch a key seems like a small thing but it's wonderful.
:/ I'll probably go with the premium...don't need leather seats, heated seats or spoiler....would of loved the push start but I really don't need it...
Standard HID,Navi,LED and Bluetooth is fine with me
Limited for the win! I can't see myself going with a Premium BRZ I'll feel like it's missing something. I think going limited is worth it if you want leather and all the other goodness.
Limited, I believe the Limited also has a more robust sound system. But bluetooth and the tires with better paint does it for me. And, yes, fog lights. Here in SF Bay area we get a lot of fog. Coming home from work this morning enough to regret not having them on my commuter.
I'm sure you'll find someone with a premium who'll trade trunklids.
As for others who are pondering which to get, if this is going to be a year-round car and you're in a temperate climate, get the limited. Once you go heated seats, you won't ever want to go back!
I SERIOUSLY doubt it. The BRZ/FR-Ss are going to be low production, and thus we'll be limited to a handful of dealer/port-installed accessories. Maybe in 2014 or 2015, if there's ehough outcry, Toyota/Subaru may offer a "spoiler delete" option for the up-trimmed cars.
What I CAN see happening though is: You buy a Limited (not wanting the spoiler) and IF the dealer has a Premium of the same color, they swap trunk lids for you at no cost (and NO discount). They then add a "rider" window sticker to the Premium, charging prospective buyers for the "optional rear spoiler". You get what you want (happy customer), and the dealer makes extra off the Premium car, and recoups on the labor to make you happy (happy dealer).
I'll be ordering a satin white pearl limited on Thursday. Will have the manual tranmission. At some point, I'm planning on getting that TRD rear lip spoiler to replace the OEM one.
I'm looking forward to the Limited. Keyless start is a biggie for me As for the rest of the interior, it's a bit moot. I'll be removing nearly everything immediately for an "adjustment".
