I have a appointment to get my oil changed and will have them look at this issue as well. But it opened fine this weekend went to open it today to toss in some groceries and nope wont respond to anything. Key fob, button on the dash, or pushing in the handle on the trunk lid itself. Anyone have this happen???

Yes, somebody has pressed the trunk lock bypass button inside the trunk, left side.

The ONLY way to reset this button and reactivate the electronic trunk release is with the hard key inside your key fob. This inserts into a regular keyed lock in the underside of the trunk lid "handle", beside the rubber covered release button.

Once you get the trunk open look inside behind the left wheel arch and make sure the trunk lock button is off before you re close the trunk.

This is to allow you to lock the trunk for valet purposes and if you do use this feature make sure you leave only the fob with the valet and slip the hard key into your pocket or wallet (or your girl's purse).
