I had a silver FJ Cruise, with 20% window tint. Yes, it's on the darker side of tint, but darker windows would look better than mirrored ones in my opinion.

Thank you! I could see how the contrast would be better and have run across pics of silver BRZ, etc with tinted windows. Look forward to getting it done when this economy bounces back. I know a guy that tints windows out of his garage on the side.

I see it's been a while, but I wanted to chime in. As someone who's had tinted windows on both light and dark-colored cars, I can say that it really depends on personal preference. I've seen silver BRZs with black and mirrored tints, and both look great. I also use car sun shades for less heat and sunlight in the car. Ultimately, it comes down to what you're looking for in terms of style and functionality.
